EV House is a pure electric vehicle brand under Chongqing Xiaodian Tiangti New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. Established in 2021 and headquartered in Chongqing, China, the brand operates under Chongqing Xiaodian Tiangti New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. (founded on July 5, 2021, with a registered capital of 20 million RMB), with Hu Jun as the legal representative. In August 2021, Chongqing SITECH officially launched the EV House brand at a strategic launch conference, widely seen as the beginning of SITECH's "rebirth" and restart following bankruptcy restructuring.
EV House is positioned as "a pure electric mobility service provider focused on high cost‑performance," targeting the A0, A00, and A‑segment sub‑markets, with a focus on young consumers in second‑ and third‑tier cities. The brand adopts an innovative DOCK business model to lightly integrate industrial chain resources, and leverages a DTC (Direct to Consumer) online‑to‑offline integrated marketing and service approach to deliver economical and affordable pure electric mobility products and services to users.

The predecessor of the EV House brand—SITECH—was an early explorer among China's new‑force automakers. In 2017, SITECH was established in Gui'an New District, Guizhou Province, with support from local industry funds. In 2018, Xinte reached a contract manufacturing agreement with FAW Car and launched its first model, the DEV 1. However, due to the unsustainability of its development model, SITECH fell into production stoppage and operational difficulties from 2019. In 2020, driven by the Chongqing Changshou High‑tech Zone government and investors including CDH Investment, Xinte completed a restructuring, relocated its registered office from Guizhou to Chongqing, and was renamed Chongqing Xinte Changshou New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. Hu Jun, an automotive industry veteran who had served as Executive Vice President of Chery Jaguar Land Rover Sales and Service, took office as Managing Director.
In July 2021, Hu Jun co‑founded Chongqing Xiaodian Tiangti New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. as the majority shareholder, giving birth to the EV House brand. In August of the same year, Chongqing SITECH officially launched the EV House brand and its first model, the YOUNG Light, while announcing the completion of its Pre‑A financing round. EV House adopted an innovative "DOCK Docking Station Model," significantly reducing manufacturing costs and operational capital pressure through measures such as not building its own factories, co‑developing with mature technology partners, low‑cost channel building, and DTC user operations.
At the end of July 2022, EV House's parent company Xiaodian Tiangti announced the completion of its Series A financing, co‑led by Fortune Global 500 enterprise Weiqiao Industrial Group and SoftBank China Capital, with funding approaching 1 billion RMB. The two parties also planned to jointly build a new energy vehicle industrial park in Binzhou, featuring lightweight, short‑process, and flexible manufacturing, with total investment exceeding 5 billion RMB. In September 2022, EV House signed a strategic cooperation agreement with FCA Financial and announced a sales target of 100,000 units per year for 2023. In 2023, EV House launched the new YOUNG Light model, adding LFP battery versions and various range configurations. In January 2024, the brand's second model, the Yue 01, was officially launched as a next‑gen urban micro EV. By the end of 2025, EV House had opened over 100 stores nationwide, covering Chongqing, Sichuan, Guangdong, Shandong, and other provinces.
EV House has built a product portfolio centred on micro pure electric models, with mainstream pricing ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 RMB. The YOUNG Light series is the brand's first production model, positioned as a five‑door, four‑seat pure electric commuter car, measuring 3,740×1,655×1,550 mm with a 2,415 mm wheelbase. The early version was equipped with a Gotion High‑tech 38.54 kWh NMC battery, offering a CLTC combined range of 408 km and supporting fast charging to 80% in 36 minutes. The 2023 model added variants priced from 64,800 to 94,800 RMB, including an LFP battery version. This model also featured a crossover collaboration with the popular anime IP "Crayon Shin‑chan," targeting younger consumers, and won the "2022 58 Car Intelligent Electric Award."
The Yue 01 is EV House's second model, officially launched in January 2024 with six configurations, priced from 59,800 to 79,800 RMB. It adopts a five‑door, four‑seat micro EV layout, measuring 3,750×1,655×1,550 mm. All models are powered by Gotion High‑tech LFP battery packs, with CLTC ranges of 251 km (24 kWh) and 335 km (32.56 kWh), and a 408 km version also available. All variants feature a single‑motor layout with 35 kW of power and 125 N·m of torque, and can fast‑charge from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes. The interior includes a 12.8‑inch vertical central display and a floating digital instrument cluster, supporting voice control, OTA updates, and mobile app remote control.
Since the brand's launch in 2021, EV House remains in its early‑stage scaling phase. During the 2021–2022 brand‑building period, the YOUNG Light completed its first batch of user deliveries and gradually built market awareness. However, in July 2023, the model recorded only around 100 units in monthly deliveries—far below the monthly sales levels of top micro EV brands. In 2025, EV House's total sales remained sluggish; the Yue 01 model averaged roughly 19 units per month, with annual cumulative sales of just 91 units. As of February 2026, total brand sales stood at only about 10 units, and the brand's market ranking had dropped to the tail end of the industry.
The primary reasons for the sluggish performance are intense competition in the micro EV segment—where top brands are highly concentrated and price wars continue to escalate—combined with EV House's low brand awareness and limited marketing investment, making it difficult for the brand to gain traction in a fiercely competitive market.
EV House's core technology is anchored in its innovative DOCK Docking Station Model, which enables technology deployment through resource integration and joint R&D. On the R&D side, the DOCK model co‑develops with established technology partners, focusing on four business ports. On the manufacturing side, it does not operate its own factories, significantly reducing fixed asset investment through contract manufacturing. In marketing and channels, it adopts a low‑cost store‑building partner model. On the operations side, it uses a DTC user‑engagement model instead of traditional mass advertising.
Its battery system is closely integrated with Gotion High‑tech, a leading Chinese power battery enterprise. The early YOUNG Light was equipped with Gotion's 38.54 kWh NMC battery pack. The battery compartment is sealed to IP67 international standards, providing high‑strength waterproof and dustproof capability.
After completing its Series A financing in 2022, EV House, together with Weiqiao Industrial Group, advanced the development of the next‑generation eDOCK Pure Electric Platform, with a focus on lightweight, all‑aluminium CTC skateboard chassis technology. The platform will leverage Weiqiao's expertise in body lightweighting, integrating cells and chassis—with the all‑aluminium chassis debuting on EV House's new A‑segment models. On the intelligence front, EV House plans to upgrade both in‑house and joint R&D capabilities across pure electric vehicle platforms, electronic‑electrical architecture, three‑electric systems, autonomous driving technology, and a SaaS intelligent data platform.
EV House accelerated its global expansion strategy starting in 2024. In January 2024, the brand signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Fosun Trading in Shanghai. The first jointly developed model, the Yue 01 Overseas Edition, will initially launch in the ASEAN market, with plans to expand to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and other overseas markets. Leveraging Fosun Trading's overseas channels and global trade expertise, the brand aims to gradually progress from "product going global" to "brand going global." The two parties also plan to launch a KD (Knocked Down) project in Thailand to support the local development of the new energy vehicle market.
In March 2024, a delegation from the Economic Development Department of Puebla State, Mexico, visited China and toured EV House, inviting the brand to establish a presence in the state to explore the Central and South American market. EV House senior executives held in‑depth business discussions during the visit. The visit provided an important opportunity for EV House to further penetrate the Central and South American market and marked a substantive step forward in the brand's global strategy.
EV House has laid out a development blueprint centred on its identity as a "high cost‑performance pure electric mobility service provider." On the product front, the brand will continue to follow a "user‑needs‑first" philosophy, steadily improving its matrix of micro and small pure electric models. A new generation of A‑segment models is already in joint R&D and adaptation.
On the overseas front, EV House will deepen its collaboration with strategic partners including Fosun Trading and Weiqiao Group, with a continued focus on the ASEAN market while expanding into Europe, Australia‑New Zealand, and other regions. It will explore an integrated "product, marketing, and service" globalisation model. At the same time, leveraging the new energy vehicle industrial park planned and under construction by Weiqiao Group in Binzhou, Shandong (with total investment exceeding 5 billion RMB), EV House will apply all‑aluminium CTC skateboard chassis technology and lightweight body materials to continuously improve range, safety, and energy efficiency.
With this foundation, EV House is committed to becoming a "small, beautiful" differentiated force, deeply rooted in the 50,000 to 150,000 RMB economy national commuter car market.
